Volunteers Needed!
Pheasant Fest 2024: March 1st – 3rd in Sioux Falls, SD
Please email ROSS SIEMERS if you are interested in volunteering at the KlM-GNA booth.
Include the following information:
- What days/times can you man the booth?
- Fri 3/1 12pm-7pm
- Sat 3/2 9am-6pm
- Sun 3/3 9am-4pm, with take-down
- Will you be able to bring your dog to the booth? (Note: This can be stressful for some dogs since there is so much activity. If you don’t think your dog is a good fit then it’s best not to bring them.)
Volunteers will have PF passes for the day(s) that they are scheduled to be at the booth.
Ross will be reserving an Air-bnb, but space is limited! Discuss lodging options with him directly.
Kleine Münsterländer – Group North America (KlM-GNA) cordially invites its members and members of other JGHV affiliated breed clubs to participate in the Verbandsjugendprüfung (VJP – Association Youth Test), near Rockford, IL, on Friday – Sunday, May 3-5, 2024.
Dogs with an F.C.I. pedigree, which were whelped after September 30. 2022, are eligible for admission to the test. Applicants must be members of KlM-GNA or another JGHV-affiliated breed club.
The test will be conducted in accordance with the current VZPO (“Regulations for Association Breed Tests”) of the JGHV. The organizers are thereby permitted to restrict entries to members of KlM-GNA until the registration deadline. Thereafter, qualifying breeds will be granted entry to the test on a “first come, first served” basis. The test will be limited to 30 dogs, such that 10 dogs could be tested each day (two groups of five dogs).
The Lönssuche is a once-a-year test event of the KlM Association that takes place in the month of October and showcases some of the Association’s top performing HZP dogs. In addition, the Lönssuche includes a Breed Show which is combined with the HZP test result to make up the final score.
In recognition of the upcoming 10th Anniversary of the KlM Landesgruppe North America, our parent club in Germany has asked us to host the Lönssuche 2024 in the U.S.A! Top performing KlM from Germany and the US will participate.
